Dr Amin Palangi is an arts leader, curator, and cultural producer with a strong track record of championing diverse voices and stories. He is the founder and director of the Persian Film Festival in Australia, which since 2011 has become a vibrant platform for cross-cultural dialogue and artistic exchange. With over a decade of experience curating programs, developing exhibitions, and fostering collaborations across the arts, Amin has worked extensively at the intersection of film, visual art, and community engagement. He has served on the Screen NSW Film and Television Industry Advisory Committee and has taught creative practice at UNSW and AFTRS, mentoring the next generation of storytellers and artists. As Gallery Director, Amin brings his vision for creating spaces that are inclusive, innovative, and globally connected—championing both emerging and established artists while cultivating meaningful connections between audiences and the arts.
