Farina Salehi is a multidisciplinary Fine Arts artist with a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Sydney and a recent Master’s in Art Therapy from WSU. She has exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Sydney and Iran, including the Tehran Art Expo in 2010, Art Fair Sydney 2017, and internationally at the Saatchi Gallery. Her work is part of prestigious collections. Drawing from her cultural background, Salehi blends Eastern and Western artistic traditions through her collages, exploring themes of migration, belonging, and cultural identity using mediums such as bitumen, acrylics, oils, and hand-woven textiles. Her works unfold a dynamic dialogue between self and identity, where the essence of East and West intertwines, creating a seamless conversation between two worlds.
