About The Artist

Vida Irani was born in 1978 in Tehran, Iran. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Azad University, Tehran. She immigrated to Sydney in 2010. Finally, pursuing her true passion for studying the Arts, Vida completed a Diploma of Screen and Media at Sydney Film School in 2016. She has since written and directed several short films. Over the last year, she has been exploring methods of creative imagination with renowned Iranian-Australian artist Dr Nasser Palangi, and these artworks are the result of that exploration.
